Karl Lagerfeld took inspiration from India for his latest pre-autumn/winter 2012-13 collection, which he unveiled in all its glory yesterday at Chanel´s Grand Palais home - which had undergone quite the Maharaja transformation. Tables were laden for high tea and there was even a small CC-decorated steam train, complete with crystal decanters for guests - it was a grand feast and the most rich and apt teaser for what was to come: the clothes.
